    Hangzhou Silan Azure Co., Ltd is an opto-electronic semiconductor device company involving design and production of high brightness LED chips. The company is located at No 300, Street No 10, East  HETZ, Hangzhou, China. Silan Azure is a joint venture of Silan Microelectronics and Silan Integrated Circuit. The company’s initial capital is 200 million RMB and the factory covers 50,000 square meters of land. It has more than 200 sets of imported manufacture equipment. The products include blue and green nitride semiconductor chips and epitaxy wafers.   

    Since Silan Azure was founded on September 2004, the company started process research and development of MOCVD which is technology and investment concentrated. The company invites number of experienced research and management people in opto- electronic industry globally to join its management team. The company’s has well organized engineering team, advanced production equipment, full set of semiconductor manufacturing line and technical reserves in process technology as well as manpower.

   Silan Azure was set up based on top management’s rich experience in research, manufacturing and marketing of silicon devices. Silan IC also provides a good semiconductor manufacturing platform at the initial start. The company targeted middle to high end market at start, and focus on the research of new product with its own IP.

    Currently the green and blue chip we produced has reached international standard in terms of quality and reliability, the product has been widely used in the high end application area such as display for indoor and outdoor, traffic lights etc. The products quality is well known in our customers.

    Silan Azure has invested more than 250 million RMB to expand production and process development. The process covers MOCVD growth, LED chip manufacturing, chip testing and sorting. The production capability for LED chips is 300KK/month, the company intend to expand its capability to800KK/month by the end of 2010.

    The company existing blue, the green light LED chip monthly output has reached 300KK, the product receives the home, outside the customer consistent approval, through 2 year time market introductions, the market share surpasses 50%.Although in 2008 depth whole world economic crisis difficult position, but because the gentleman blue Ming Xin brand effect, instead unceasingly promotes in the domestic market percentage of along with the customer approval, the sales volume compares for 07 years to grow 40%.

    The company’s organization structure includes department as epitaxy, device and process, R&D, production, equipment, sales etc. It has total work force of more than 300 people, among them, 30% is technical personnel, 25% is administrative and management. The company 65% workforce is diploma or above.

   Silan Azure with the hard working of all the staff and the management’s proper marketing strategy has become a star in the LED chip manufacturing in China. The company has become one of the important businesses for Silan Microelectronics.
